Coaching Staff 24-25
Tyler Moore
Head Coach
Coach Moore will be entering his 14th year as a Texas high school football coach and 10th year at Prosper High School, serving 8 years as the offensive coordinator before taking over as Head Coach in 2023. Prior to his time at Prosper he served 4 years as the Wide Receivers coach at Cedar Park High School, winning a state championship in 2012. He was born and raised in Georgetown, TX and attended Texas A&M University where he received Bachelors in Kinesiology. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Devin, for 11 years and the couple has two young sons, Grayson (6 years) & Austin (3 years).

Brian Thompson
Assistant Head Coach | Offensive Line
Coach Thompson is beginning his 22nd year of coaching, and 8th at Prosper High School. He previously coached at Princeton, Red Oak, Marshall, and Nevada Community high schools. He is originally from Howe, TX and played football at Austin College in Sherman, TX where he was a 3 year Academic All conference Player and 2 year starter on the offensive line. He graduated in 2002 with a B.A in Exercise Science and served as a graduate assistant while obtaining his Master’s in Education in 2003. Goals for the season: Be recognized as the most physical offensive line in the district and help young men discover the work ethic to be successful when they graduate high school. Coach Thompson is married to his beautiful wife Melissa and they have two children: Charlotte 10 and Madison 16.
Malcolm Hill
Offensive Coordinator | Wide Receivers
Coach Hill will be entering his 8th year as a Texas high school football coach and 2nd year at Prosper High School as the Eagles Offensive Coordinator and Wide Receivers coach. Prior to joining the Eagles, Coach Hill served at Frisco Reedy High School, Sam Houston State, and Central Missouri University. He attended and played Football all 4 years at Rice University in Houston, TX. Hill is married to his wife, Taryn, for 6 years and the couple has two kids, Ava Joy (5 years) & Kingston James (3 years).
Ricky Trujillo
Running Backs
Coach Trujillo is entering his 15th year coaching varsity football and 2nd year at Prosper High School. Coach Trujillo will serve as Running Backs Coach. Prior to Prosper he coached at Rock Hill HS as Associate Head Coach and Special Teams Coordinator. Denton Braswell as Running Backs, Head Track Coach and Hamilton Southeastern (IN) as Defensive Backs Coach. He graduated from Denton Ryan HS as well as Butler University where he played football for the Bulldogs. Coach Trujillo is married to his beautiful wife Paige and they have 2 kids Sloane (5 Years) and Trae (18 Months).
John Hutti
H Backs
Coach Hutti is in his 8th year of coaching all in PISD and this will be his 4th year at Prosper High School. He is a 2017 Graduate of Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelors in History. He will be coaching Varsity Tight Ends and will also be coaching Track. Coach Hutti teaches World Geography.
Carson Meager
Quaterbacks
Coach Meger is a native of Plano, Tx and is entering his 12th year in education. He earned his bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, where he was a 3 year letter winner for the football program. Coach Meger also earned a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Concordia University. He will be coaching the Quarterbacks and assisting with the Track and Field program as well as working in credit recovery. Coach Meger has been married to his beautiful wife Katie, a PISD Elementary PE teacher, since 2014. They stay busy chasing around their 8 year old daughter Lucy, 6 year old son Griffin, and 4 year old daughter Layla. Some of his hobbies include watching sports, playing golf, and doing anything outdoors with his family.
Joel Wilhelm
Head Freshman Coach, Assistant Offensive Line
Coach Wilhelm will be entering his 10th year as a Texas high school football coach and first year at Prosper High School as the Head Freshman Coach and Assistant Offensive Line Coach. Prior to joining the staff at prosper, Coach Wilhelm served as the Offensive Coordinator/ OL Coach at Copperas Cove, as well as the OL Coach at Dallas WT White. He also served on staff at Cedar Hill and Dallas Life Oak Cliff. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Coach Wilhelm and his wife Paula have been married for 4 years and have two daughters, Everly (2) and Adelaide (6 months).
Brendan Clary
Assistant Wide Receivers
Coach Clary will be in his 10th year of teaching & coaching with this beginning his third year at THE Prosper High School where he also coaches baseball and teaches World History. He is a graduate of Denton High School in 2006 and Lubbock Christian University in 2014 where he played baseball. His coaching stops include Slaton, Lubbock Cooper, Ranchview and R.L. Turner. Coach Clary has been married to his wife of six years, Kelsey, who is also in education as an assistant principal. Coach Clary and Kelsey also have a 3-year-old daughter, Charlotte and welcomed their son Brooks in April. Coach Clary is looking forward to a great 2024 season and ready to see Children's Health Stadium full for some great matchups this year.

Chase Petersen
Defensive Coordinator | Safeties
Coach Petersen is in his 11th year of coaching, all of which have been at Prosper. This will be his 6th year coaching the safeties. After graduating from Prosper HS in 2009, he attended the University of North Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He and his beautiful wife Anna have been married for 14 years. They have two boys Chance (9) and Nash (6) and one girl Brooklyn (2).
Devin Lemons
Head JV Coach | Defensive Line
Originally from Pampa Tx, he is entering his 19th year of coaching and teaching. Graduated from Texas Tech University where he played football. Also played in the NFL for 5 years before retiring and transitioning into coaching. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Nicole, for 25 years and they have 3 amazing sons together. Gabe, who played football and graduated from Oklahoma State University, Chris, who is currently playing football at Texas Tech, and Isaac, who is a 6th grader.
Coby Richards
Outside Linebackers | Special Teams Coordinator
Coach Richards is in his 20th year of coaching and this will be his 10th year at Prosper HS. He is a 2004 Graduate of Howard Payne University & completed his Masters Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University in 2010. Prior to Prosper ISD, Coach Richards served Cameron ISD for 4 years as Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach. He also served Duncanville ISD for 7 years where he was the Defensive Coordinator for Football and coached Baseball. Coach Richards is married to Veronica who also coaches for PISD, they have 2 children, Halle (16) & Brody (14).
Darren Kight
Inside Linebackers
This will be Coach Kight’s 4th year at Prosper High School and 34th overall. Coach Kight and his wife Jillian have two children, Kyndall will be a freshman at Angelo State and Cooper will be a junior at PHS.
Cam Devereaux
Corners
Originally from Houston,Tx and a graduate from Henderson State University. I met my beautiful wife Shuree Devereaux, who’s also a Prosper ISD educator, while in college and we have been married for five years. We enjoy fishing together and having weekly movie nights!
Eric Mach
Safeties | Academic Coordinator
This is Coach Mach’s 3rd year at Prosper High School and 24th overall. Prior to Prosper, Coach Mach was at Hebron High School since 2002, serving as Defensive Coordinator there since 2009. In 2005, Coach Mach was an assistant on Hebron’s Class 4A Division-II State Championship team. Before Hebron, Coach Mach was a Graduate Assistant at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota for 1 year, as well as Lincoln Pius X High School in Lincoln, Nebraska for 3 years before that, including being an assistant on the Nebraska 1998 Class B State Championship team. Coach Mach is an alumni of the University of Nebraska, and is originally from Minden, Nebraska. He has been married to his wonderful wife Lisa for 17 years and has one child, Anton.
Brandon Couch
Defensive Line
This is Coach Couch’s 22nd year coaching and his second at Prosper High School. Coach Couch comes from Braswell High School in Denton with previous stops at Mesquite HS, Allen HS, Plano SHS, Grapevine HS, Frisco Liberty HS, and Wylie East HS. He will be coaching freshman defensive line and baseball as well as teaching Special Ed. Coach Couch is a graduate from Texas A&M University - Commerce. He is married to his beautiful wife Jenifer and has four children. Madison (23) Caleb (20) Kendall (9) Josie (3).
Justin Lopez
Secondary
Coach Lopez is entering his third year coaching at Prosper High School and his tenth year overall as a football coach. Before joining Prosper, Coach Lopez spent three years coaching in the Frisco ISD and four years in the El Paso ISD, where he was born and raised. Coming from a coaching family, his father was a head baseball coach, and his mother greatly influenced his dedication and persistence. His two older brothers also coach football and softball in the area. Coach Lopez graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He is happily married to his wife, Victoria, and they have three beautiful daughters: Isabella (14), Madelyn (12), and Autumn (2).
Ryan Lamberson
Linebackers
This is Coach Lamberson’s 21st year coaching and his second at Prosper High School. Coach Lamberson comes from Trent Middle School in Frisco with previous stops at Plano Shepton HS, Carrollton RL Turner HS, McKinney North HS and Trimble Tech HS in Fort Worth. He will be coaching freshman linebackers and freshmen basketball while teaching Earth Systems science. Coach Lamberson is a graduate from Kansas State University. He is married to his amazing wife Kara who works in the district and has an awesome daughter Avery.
